Who are we?

Customs St. Maarten is an executive organization and part of the Ministry of Justice. The general
objective of the organization is to control the flow of goods to and from St. Maarten.

Who are we looking for?

The Customs Officer is charged with the implementation of supervision, control and
enforcement of the Customs laws. The Customs Officer also carries out duties in the field of
investigation, administrative checks and administrative work. The services take place during
regular and irregular hours.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum requirements are a completed Secondary TKL degree, or an Associate MBO degree
    level 3, or demonstrate at least two (2) years’ experience of working knowledge in a comparable
    position.
  • A good knowledge of the Dutch language, verbally and in writing is required.

What do we offer?

The salary level for this exciting and challenging position is scale 4.
